About the Network
NIPHRN brings together individuals from academia, the statutory sector, the community and the voluntary sector to establish Research Development Groups (RDGs) that develop a specific research protocol to attract external funding around new public health interventions.
You will have access to a vibrant community
We currently have around 300 members. These members come from universities, health trusts, the Public Health Agency and the community and voluntary sector.
Attract more funding and collaborators for your ideas
Any member can propose the formation of an RDG either in response to a specific funding call or their own idea which might be developed for submission to a researcher led call.
It’s flexible
Build a package that’s right for you. As a member you are not required to do anything, you can respond to requests to form groups, attend events and share resources as you wish.
Share your ideas
We're always interested in hearing new ideas to explore within our research activities, share yours with us.
